Carnival just bundled its drinks, Wi-Fi, and extras into four new packages called FunPacks, on sale through October 30, 2026. They are sold in My Cruise Manager for sailings departing October 31, 2026 through December 31, 2027. Prices are per person, per day. Here is what is actually in each one, and the fine print that decides whether any of them is worth your money.
The Four FunPacks
Kidstarter, $25 per day, ages 3 to 17 only: the Bottomless Bubbles soda package plus a souvenir cup, Social Wi-Fi, 1,000 arcade tokens, a lanyard, and 50% off bulk candy at Cherry on Top. Carnival says it saves up to 50% over buying the pieces separately.
Zero Proof, $50 per day: the CHEERS! Zero Proof package (unlimited non-alcoholic drinks including specialty coffees, zero-proof cocktails, milkshakes, energy drinks, and bottled water), Value Wi-Fi, a $50 shore excursion discount, and a $25 specialty dining discount. Carnival says it saves up to 35%. A version for guests ages 3 to 20 is also offered.
Social, $60 per day: the new CHEERS! Social package, which exists only inside this bundle (unlimited non-alcoholic drinks plus three alcoholic drinks per day), Premium Wi-Fi, one shore excursion included up to $100, one specialty dining meal included up to $55, 50% off eligible spa treatments, and 50% off Dreams Studio photo packages. Carnival says it saves up to 50%.
Epic, $99 per day: the full CHEERS! package, Premium Wi-Fi, two shore excursions included (each up to $100), two specialty dining meals included (each up to $55), 50% off eligible spa treatments and Dreams Studio packages, one bottle of sparkling wine, and one bag of wash-and-fold laundry. Carnival says it saves up to 55%.
Service charges on the beverage packages and included specialty dining are included in the FunPack price.
Discounts Are Not Inclusions
Read Zero Proof carefully. It gives you discounts on excursions and dining, money off, not the excursion or the meal. Social and Epic include the excursion and the meal, up to the dollar limits above. If an included excursion costs more than $100, you pay the difference; if it costs less, the leftover value is gone. Included dining works the same way at $55, and Bonsai Teppanyaki and The Chef’s Table are not eligible.
The Cabin Rule
If one guest age 21 or older in a stateroom buys a FunPack, every guest age 21 or older in that stateroom must buy the SAME FunPack. Guests 20 and under are not required to buy one; Kidstarter and the under-21 Zero Proof are their options. Price the whole cabin, not just yourself, before you decide a pack is a deal.
Galveston, New York, and Norfolk Sailings
Social and Epic are priced differently for departures from Galveston, New York, and Norfolk, because on those sailings the alcoholic drink benefits do not begin until 6 a.m. on day two. Check your specific sailing in My Cruise Manager for your exact total.
Buy It Before You Sail, Use It Before You Sail
FunPacks cannot be bought onboard. The included excursions, dining, spa, and photo benefits must also be booked in My Cruise Manager before sailing, by the stated deadlines. Anything not redeemed before sailing is forfeited.
The Bigger Change Behind This
Starting December 1, 2026, Carnival moves its beverage packages and Wi-Fi to dynamic pricing, where the price varies by sailing length, itinerary, and season. These fixed-price FunPacks, sold only through October 30, are the lock-in offer ahead of that change.
How To Get One
FunPacks are bought in My Cruise Manager on Carnival’s site, and that is genuinely the only place: travel advisors do not earn commission on Carnival add-ons, so your agent cannot sell you one and has no reason to push you either way. Run the math against what you would actually buy on your own cruise. And if the cruise itself is not booked yet, that part I can help with: Start Planning
