Everybody complains that customer service isn’t what it used to be. But here’s the funny part: we keep choosing convenience that skips the service. Self-checkout. Apps. Online ordering. Booking direct. I get it. I’m a DIY traveler too. I like to search, compare, choose my own cabin, add my excursions and book when I’m ready. I’m not trying to change the way you like to book. I’m trying to give you a better place to start.
Like Booking Your Own Vacations? Good. So Do I.
I’m building my website the way I’d want to use it. Start in one place and browse cruises, hotels, excursions, transportation, parking, travel insurance and other trip essentials. I’m constantly working to make those tools easier because I know DIY travelers will use whatever makes booking simplest. The difference? You don’t give up the travel advisor just because you did the booking yourself.
As your vacation comes together, I can pull the pieces together for you into one organized trip you can access through the TERN app right on your phone. Your itinerary, reservations and travel documents stay together instead of buried in confirmation emails. If you choose, I can also securely keep copies of important travel documents, such as your passport or driver’s license, and help you keep an eye on expiration dates.
Need a change? Call me. Something go sideways? Call me. Somebody needs to sit on hold with the supplier? That’s me, not you. Want me to watch for an eligible price drop? I can do that too, because I promise the supplier isn’t watching your reservation hoping they can charge you less. 😂
“But I Already Have a PVP.”
And you may have a great one! But here’s the difference: they work for the cruise line. I work for YOU. I’m not limited to one cruise line, hotel company or vacation option when we’re figuring out what actually fits your trip. And next year when you say, “My sister and I want to cruise next summer,” you’re not starting over with a stranger. I know the backstory.

If you’d rather tell me what you want and let me research, compare and put the vacation together, that’s what I’m here for. You decide how much or how little you want to do yourself. And here’s the part many travelers don’t realize: I don’t charge a planning or booking fee for your vacation. Booking direct generally doesn’t make your vacation cheaper because you skipped the travel advisor.
So why give up the service? Keep the convenience. Keep the control. Keep the service you’ve already paid for.
