Casino offer matching and cruise loyalty status matching are two different programs. Understanding the difference can help you submit the right information, and avoid expecting casino benefits from a regular loyalty match.
Casino Offer Match
A casino offer or rewards match is based on your casino activity, casino loyalty tier or an offer you have already received.
You may be asked to submit proof of:
- A land-based casino rewards tier
- A land-based casino offer
- A cruise casino offer
- Your casino loyalty card
- Your recent gaming activity or benefits
The cruise line’s casino department reviews the information and determines whether you qualify.
Possible benefits may include:
- Complimentary or discounted cruises
- Casino free play
- Onboard credit
- Drinks or other casino perks
- A matched casino rewards tier
Approval is not guaranteed. Offers depend on the cruise line’s rules, your qualifying casino activity and available sailings.
Casino matches are based on casino activity or casino status, not the number of cruises you have sailed.
Cruise Loyalty Status Match
A cruise loyalty status match is based on your membership level with another eligible travel or cruise loyalty program.
Possible benefits may include:
- Priority boarding
- Onboard discounts
- Loyalty-event invitations
- Internet, laundry or beverage benefits
- Benefits on future sailings
A loyalty status match does not automatically include complimentary casino cruises, free play or other casino offers.
Cruise loyalty status is generally based on eligible loyalty membership or cruise history, not casino play.
Current Casino Match Programs
Programs and eligibility requirements change frequently. Always review the cruise line’s current terms before submitting your information.
Royal Caribbean Club Royale Rewards Match
Royal Caribbean currently offers a Club Royale Rewards Match for eligible casino players.
Royal’s current eligibility says the applicant must be:
- A new Club Royale member, or an existing Club Royale member who has not sailed Royal Caribbean within the previous 24 months and does not have a future booking
- At least 21 years old by the sailing departure date
- A resident of the United States or Canada
- A member of an eligible casino rewards program with a valid player’s card
- Enrolled in Crown & Anchor Society and opted in to marketing communications
If approved, Royal’s current terms say the Rewards Match provides a stateroom offer for the member plus one guest, based on double occupancy. Taxes and other required fees are additional.
Watch the deadlines: the offer must currently be redeemed within 15 days of issuance and used on an eligible sailing departing within 9 months of issuance. The offer only applies to the ships, dates, itineraries and stateroom categories shown in the offer.
Royal’s terms also say that if you submit both an eligible player’s card and a competing cruise-line casino offer for consideration, Royal will use the higher-value submission as determined by Royal.

Carnival Cruise Line Fun Match
Carnival’s Fun Match allows eligible players to submit proof of loyalty with another casino. Carnival may extend a discounted or complimentary cruise offer after reviewing the submission.

Holland America Line Ocean Players Club Match
Holland America accepts qualifying casino loyalty information and casino offers through its Ocean Players Club Match program. Eligible applicants may receive discounted or complimentary cruise opportunities and other benefits.

Princess Cruises Casino Tier Match
Princess has a casino tier-match program for eligible land-based casino players. The available benefit depends on the casino program and tier submitted.

Virgin Voyages Casino Offer Match
Virgin Voyages does not do casino status matching. Instead, players can submit a current competitor casino offer for review through Virgin’s Casino Player Inquiry form, and Virgin may counter it. Margaritaville at Sea Casino Match
Margaritaville at Sea advertises casino offer and VIP tier-match opportunities. A qualifying casino offer or loyalty tier may result in discounted cabins, complimentary sailings or VIP casino benefits.

Current Loyalty Status Match Programs
Royal Caribbean Group Loyalty Status Match
Royal Caribbean Group provides one-for-one status matching among:
- Royal Caribbean Crown & Anchor Society
- Celebrity Cruises Captain’s Club
- Silversea Venetian Society
This is a match among those three affiliated cruise loyalty programs. Status from an unrelated cruise line does not qualify.
Important: this does NOT mean casino status matches across the sister brands. Royal Caribbean Club Royale casino status/points and Celebrity Blue Chip Club casino status/points do not automatically transfer or match simply because the cruise lines are part of the same company. The sister-brand match described here is for regular cruise loyalty status, not casino status.
Some benefits remain exclusive to members who earned their status through sailing activity. Travelers must enroll in each applicable loyalty program themselves.

MSC Voyagers Club Status Match
MSC Cruises may match eligible status from selected cruise lines, hotel programs and tour operators to an MSC Voyagers Club level.
Proof showing your name, loyalty program and current tier is generally required. MSC treats this as a one-time status-match request.

Virgin Voyages Sailing Club Status Match
New for fall 2026: Virgin Voyages is matching loyalty status from other cruise lines, airlines and hotels into its Sailing Club. Eligible cruise status includes Carnival VIFP Club Gold and above, Royal Caribbean Crown & Anchor Platinum and above, and MSC Voyagers Club Blue Diamond, along with a long list of airline and hotel programs.
Apply by October 31, 2026. No booking is required to apply. If your status is verified, Virgin emails you a single-use Access Key. Book one new voyage by October 31, 2026 with that Access Key and you get Blue Extras on that sailing: a complimentary bag of laundry, one specialty coffee per day, an invitation to an exclusive onboard cocktail event, and dedicated Sailing Club support. The perks apply to the primary Sailor only.
The fine print that matters: one submission and one sailing per Sailor, new bookings only (it cannot be added to an existing booking), and this is a one-time Blue Extras experience, not a permanent upgrade to the Blue Extras tier.

What About Celebrity Cruises?
Celebrity’s Blue Chip Club provides casino rewards based on onboard play and currently promotes casino partnerships, including MGM Rewards and Hard Rock.
I do not currently find a public Celebrity casino-offer or casino-status match program where you submit a Carnival or other cruise-line casino offer and Celebrity matches it. Celebrity does have Blue Chip Club casino offers and casino partnerships, but that is different from a competing cruise-line casino offer match.

Important Before You Apply
Before submitting a match request:
- Confirm that your casino or loyalty program is eligible.
- Read the current terms directly on the cruise line’s website.
- Take clear pictures of both sides of your casino card when requested.
- Keep a copy or screenshot of your current casino offer.
- Make sure your name is visible on all supporting documentation.
- Check age, residency, booking and sailing restrictions.
- Do not assume that approval is guaranteed.
- Compare the full price, including taxes, port expenses, deposits and other required charges.
Match programs, eligible tiers and benefits can change or close without notice.

If your benefit came from gambling activity, a casino rewards tier or a casino comp, you are probably looking for a casino offer match.
If your status came from cruises sailed or membership in a travel loyalty program, you are probably looking for a loyalty status match.
