Answer what you know and skip what you do not. If nothing matches exactly, the finder shows you the closest trips instead of a dead end. Results are matches to your preferences, not promises that a trip fits you. The cards tell the whole story.
Fair warning before you pick the Gulf: almost every crossing in this book leaves from Florida or the New York area, and there is a simple reason. Ships cross the Atlantic when they move between the Caribbean and Europe, and the shortest jumps start from Florida and the Northeast. Gulf ports mostly send ships around the Caribbean in circles, so Gulf crossings almost never happen. In all of 2027 and 2028 there is exactly one true ship-hop that touches the Gulf, and it is in this book, because I would rather show you the one real one than pretend there are more. The realistic Gulf play is a cheap flight or an easy drive to Florida, pick your crossing there, and your car is waiting when you cruise home.
